This is a newly opened childcare centre in BC, Canada, with 5 classrooms and a large outdoor play area with all accessible playground equipment. Thanks to the trust from our client, all the children's furniture and kids playground equipment as well as teaching materials and toys are ordered from us.
The whole childcare environment is fresh and inviting the main color of white and green, and all the kids furniture in natural wooden color. When entering into this centre, It is one reception halllcoming you, with a creative reception desk and sofa bench for visitors. Front towards is a long corridor, with a full row of coat lockers alongside, and the classrooms are on the right side.
The first two classrooms are designed for infant toddlers, the classrooms are medium sized, with areas for study, eating and diaper changing, reading area, activity area and role play area, each of these two classrooms have a sleeping room with low height wooden stacking bed. The tables and chairs area specially designed for young toddlers, with low height suitable for them.
The next two classrooms are two small rooms for toddlers, with all essential furniture for children to study, and to do cognitive games, role play games, block game, motor skill game and reading. There also equip with changing table in these toddler rooms, and a shared nap room for these two classrooms.
At the end is a large classroom for preschoolers, with storage area, block play area, role play area, cognitive play area, science game area, study area and naping area with light weight stackable cots. Most of the storage shelves are placed next to the walls, to leave the most possible free space for children. There are plenty of different kinds of educational toys for preschoolers to develop different skills and abilities.
All the classrooms are equipped with lots of educational toys in with different functions, as it is the goal of this centre to implement the five areas of development: physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language skills into different activities so that the kids can learn while they're playing.
In the outdoor play area, there are two inclusive playgrounds, outdoor musical instrument, motor skill play games and outdoor table and chairs. This childacare centre believes in play based learning which supports children to be happy, healthy, creative, social and collaborative.
