Childcare Natural Playground Design
This is a nature inspired preschool outdoor playground designed for one childcare centre in Australia.
There are three play areas for children of different age groups:
Baby Play Area
This 60-square-meter small play yard mainly contains a set of wooden low height wooden stair climber set, a gentle walking bridge, wooden play tunnel and a wooden bench. It is for the youngest ones to crawl and receive some sunshine during outdoor activity, the childcare givers can sit on the bench and watch over the babies.
Toddler Play Area
This outdoor play area is for toddlers of 1-2 years old. Not very big but really multifunctional. There is a small garden for kids to experience planting activities and learn about the nature from it; A sand pit with a wooden sand play equipment for kids to enjoy the sand play; a small play yard with a mini wooden playground, pikler climber toddler gym set and some spring rockers and seesaw; colorful track for the little ones to run and race.
Preschooler Play Area
The outdoor play yard for the preschoolers is in L shape, around 300 square meters, it is for kids 3-5 years old.
From right to left, we have the butterfly ground trampoline, frest theme outdoor playground, soccer gate, outdoor wooden role play house supermarket, hopscotch, a mini river with archimedes water play equipment, sand pit, outdoor mud kitchen playset, wooden water wheels, mini hill climber, stainless steel slide and tunnels, as well as kids outdoor sports play sets.
