Today is April 2, the International Children's Book Day (ICBD)! It is celebrated since 1967, on or around Hans Christian Andersen's birthday, to inspire a love of reading and to call attention to children's books.
To let children love reading, we need to not only offer them books they are interested in, but also offer a good reading environment that inspires their interest to reading and gradually let them love reading.
We offer interior design for children’s reading room and also various kinds of bookshelves for children. Here are some of our designs and bookcases for children’s reading space.
- Forest Theme Kids Library
This is one forest themed children’s library design. It has many elements of nature and forest. With the tree shaped bookshelf, cozy soft reading hut, creative corner staircase bookshelf, sofa bench with storage, floor bookshelf for toddlers, as well as soft seating for children to have a comfortable reading experience. Children will feel like entering into one world of fairy tales as they read in the children’s books. What an excellent library for young children!
- Nature Inspired Library Design for Children
This library design is inspired by nature and wood. The main color in the library furniture is wooden color, with some green and light blue as decoration and indication for function areas. This help children focus on books while they are reading, but not paying too much attention on the colorful decorations. The green and blue colors used tells people that place is for sit and rest. With the bookshelves in low height, and even floor bookshelf, children of all ages can reach their favorite books easily.
- White Reading Room Design
This reading room creates a wow effect to the readers and visitors with its white library furniture. It has ample space for book storage as well as large space for children to sit, rest and casual play. The full wall of bookshelves till the ceiling offers enough storage units for all the children’s favorite books. The reading tree and the creative design white color bookcase with cartoon figure and a slide let children read in a cozy and joyful environment.
- Forest and Hills Reading Center
This reading center is a real wonderland of children, it turns children's reading area into an amusement park. It is the Neobio Family Park. Entering the main entrance, we are surrounded by wavy forests and rolling hills, which are book shelves of the reading area and are the best place for kids to play hide-and-seek. Every tree hole is an exclusive small world for the children. We use small forests and hills to create a free and relaxing reading area where kids feel close to nature. Said the designer. The unique design pine tree shaped reading center and mushroom shaped rest seat are made of softplay materials, which make them comfortable and safe for children.
