Ocean Theme Toddler Activity Playroom
Ocean Theme Toddler Activity Playroom
This is one activity room designed for one kids library for one of our clients in United States. The total area of the room is 70 square meters, with 11m in length and 6.4m in width. The client wanted to have functions of role play, music play, climbing and general play for children aged 2-4 years old.
Let's see how we designed this toddler activity playroom.
When entering into the playroom, we will see a set of soft play equipment with tunnels, balance beam, play mat, softplay blocks, soft vault and softplay bridge for the little ones to crawl and explore in a safe environment. On the left side, there is a wooden indoor playhouse with two wooden play slides, one role play kitchen cabinet with transparent board for children to write and paint. And there is a dramatic play corner with interactive panels as divider, gate and puppet stand. A wooden storage cabinet is set inside for kids toy storage.
On the other side, we set one wooden climbing wall with decorations of sea weeds, ocean water and white clouds, this helps children to improve their body strength and sports gross motor skills.
We also set a mini stage made of super thick soft floor mat for children to do dramatic play, operas, or sing songs. In front of the mini stage, close to the door, we set resting area with custom designed sofa for children and parents to rest and watch out the young children.
All the walls are covered by soft wall paddings, for protect children from bumping during play.
And all the play equipment in this toddler activity play room are made in ocean theme, with elements of sea weeds, water and shells. The main color used in this playroom design is blue and orange, as prefered by the client.
